Alice Kettle and The Cat's Cradle

Circus hosts mixed media artist Alice Kettle, who is influenced by the recent Greek political situation and the relationship between power and powerlessness.

Utilising her love of stitch and textile, combined with her training in fine art, Katie blurs the boundaries between art and craft.  Her bold, colourful composition reference the conflict of Greek protests, while Loukanikos; a stray dog, symbolizes the powerless and attacked.

See Alice Kettle’s “The Dog Loukanikos and The Cat’s Cradle” at Circus, 58 Marylebone High Street.
