This weekend marked the opening of the new Tate Modern Building.
A three day celebration showcasing the very best of Tate started on Friday 17th June through Sunday 19th.
The celebration included fun for families as there were a range of activities that went on, including a space where you could play and experiment with sound and performance art; perfect for the little ones!
Friday evening held a late-night event curated by young people from Tate Collective London; from emerging artists and creatives, this was an event not to be missed out on.
At 10 storeys high, built on top of The Tanks, this iconic building creates more space for art collections, giving visitors the chance to engage deeply with art.
The Tate Modern is open daily from 10am to 10pm, with free entry.
